Our 5 Star Lodge is set in 28 hectares overlooking a truly majestic setting where the Tsitsikamma Forest overlaps the Outeniqua Mountains.

This beautiful unspoilt forest is a haven for plant, bird and animal life. Many evenings the local wildlife such as bush pig, bushbuck and occasionally porcupine are within meters of the lodge. An established walking trail, down to Whiskey Creek, allows for viewing of the Garden Routes famous Knysna Lourie and other beautiful indigenous birds. Or simply observe them from our beautiful deck whilst sipping a cocktail.

The Garden Route’s world-renowned mild climate allows for an array of diverse activities throughout the year. For the less adventurous Crags Country Lodge provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy our warm South African Hospitality.

The natural surroundings were the source of inspiration for the decor, using earthy tones to create a tranquil and calming atmosphere.
